DJ Ricochet is originally from New Jersey and has lived in the Sarasota/Bradenton area since 1982.  Ricochet originally started to perform as a breakdancer at Riverview High School.  After attending MCC he began promoting local teen clubs in the area.  After a while he started as the in house DJ at the Bounty Lounge in 1989.  After 6 months requests came from the local club goers to perform outside the club.  DJ Ricochet started out with weddings and eventually branched out to do all different types of parties.  In 1993, Ricochet met with local Vj Vader of Standout Entertainment.  Combining the music, the lighting, and showmanship DJ Ricochet and Vj Vader brought Standout Entertainment far beyond any normal DJ service.  DJ Ricochet specializes in hosting large venues as an MC and specializing in 1970’s disco and 1980’s remix and music video remix.  DJ Ricochet has undergone the task of designing light shows and bringing in special effects to meet the demands of the current world of entertainment.

DJ Ricochet also owns and operates a professional home theater service.

VJ Vader is originally from Honolulu, Hawaii and attended Clovis High School in New Mexico.  Moving to Tampa in 1987, VJ Vader attended Hillsborough Community College.  In 1988, VJ Vader formed Standout Entertainment and performed at the local club circuit.  During that time he moved to the Sarasota area where he secured an editing position at 106.3 FM WSRZ Sarasota. VJ Vader was also the resident DJ at The Red Star in Ybor City Tampa. In 1993, he met DJ Ricochet.  Combining their vast collection of music, lighting, and videos they formed a new type of performance beyond the average VJ.  In 1999 VJ Vader took the title of Video Disc Jockey as he foresaw the way the entertainment industry was gearing up.  VJ Vader has mastered the art of mixing high definition music videos for any party. 

DJ IMMINENT

Disc Jockey / Video Disc Jockey  

 Dj Imminent was born in New Jersey and has lived in Jamaica & California. He began his Dj career over 14 years ago playing house parties for friends and family. Dj Imminent now resides in Sarasota FL where he attended Booker High School's VPA program in 1998. In 2002 he received a degree in sound engineering from Full Sail University while working as a Dj in some of Orlando's best nightclubs. Since that time, Imminent has grown to embrace new formats of digital mixing including Video mixing, digital scratching, and custom remixing. Dj Imminent has quickly progressed to become one of SRQ's most in demand Dj's. He has held residencies at every major nightclub venue in the Sarasota/Bradenton area since 2005 and has toured throughout the US. Imminent is comfortable playing ANY style and is known to bring many of them together in one Dj set. He has been dubbed "Sarasota's Best Mashup Dj" having gained popularity through his diverse and expansive mixing. His MC skills and easy going attitude make him a welcome addition to any large crowd. Simply put, he always brings what the crowd wants to hear!

DJ Neumatic is originally from Sarasota, Florida and attended Sarasota High School. During his time in high school he met up with Vj Vader & DJ Ricochet at a local teen club promotion.  During high school & his time at Manatee Community College he began to learn all the different types of music for many different events.  DJ Neumatic has mastered the art of being a great mc as well as being one of our lead technicians for large scale events.  He has also learned the art of mixing music video.  DJ handles many of our diverse functions such as; Hispanic weddings and Quinceaneras.  DJ Neumatic also holds a residential contractors license, a home inspection license and is fluent in Spanish.

DJ QUICKSILVER

DJ Quiksiver is originally from Queens, New York and moved to Florida in his mid teens attending Venice High School.  After high School he attended University of South Florida in Tampa.  During his time at USF DJ Quicksiler started performing for the local campus groups and nightclubs to pay for his education.  During his time at USF, he met VJ Vader at one the local Tampa clubs.  They became friends and eventually he became a DJ for Standout Entertainment.  After receiving his BA in Business Administration, DJ Quicksilver moved back down to Venice, where he has become well known locally, in performing for weddings.  DJ Quiksilver specializes in mixing 1970’s and 1980’s music, as well as top 40.

DJ URBONIC

Kenny K aka DJ Urbonic

DJ Urbonic is originally from Buffalo, New York and attended Lafayette High School in Buffalo.  During his time in high school he performed at many dances and different parties as assistant DJ for Top Notch Entertainment.  After graduating high school he attended The University at Buffalo, where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.  In 1998 DJ Urbonic moved to Sarasota, Florida where he met DJ Ricochet at the Sarasota Quay.  After seeing that he had the talent and diversity, and commitment, Standout Entertainment decided to make him part of the team.  DJ Urbonic specializes in digital mixing for old skool, hip hop, reggae, reggaeton, and R&B.  DJ Urbonic performs for many club venues in and out Florida.  DJ Urbonic also works with a Canadian company as a manufacturer’s consultant.

DJ KOGI

DJ Kogi is originally from Colombia, South America and attended Claustro Moderno in Bogota, Colombia.  After high school, his family moved to Bradenton, Florida.  In 1999 he met DJ Ricochet at a local restaurant and discussed how much he wanted to perform as a DJ.  After many events and venues Standout Entertainment made him part of the team.  DJ Kogi specializes in lounge, techno, break beats, Hispanic, and alternative mixing.  DJ Kogi currently attends MCC and MTI where he will receive his degree in advanced web design.  DJ Kogi works for one of the largest solar panel providers in the US and is fluent in Spanish.

Karaoke Disc Jockey / Singer

DJ Gib is originally from Belfast, Ireland but was raised in Hollywood, California.  He attended Hollywood High School and then attended Oregon State University, where he majored in Business for Restaurant Management.  During his time at Oregon State he entered in a local Karaoke contest and won $2,500.00.  Realizing that he had musical potential, Dj Gibb made the investment of being the local karaoke host and singer for many campus events and local bars.  After graduating, he then played with his brothers in a local band.  In 2004 Dj Gibb moved to Bradenton, Florida, where he started to perform local karaoke events.  Dj Gibb made the call to Standout Entertainment to watch him perform.  Once we saw we him, we knew he was the right man for the job.  Dj Gibb is the newest member of our company, where he specializes in karaoke and playing the guitar.
